This high-neck, classic collar is knitted from the top down, with short rows and increases knitted simultaneously on the yoke.
The elegant cable pattern is derived from the pattern in the Blushed Sweater, and is knitted on both the front and the back.
First, the turtleneck is knitted in the round in 2×2 rib. Afterwards, the yoke is knitted in the round with a circular needle, before the shoulder stitches are cast off and the work is divided into the front and back sections. Each section is knitted according to a diagram, worked back and forth separately before ribbing is worked and all the stitches are cast off.
32 cm measured from under the neckband mid-back.
21 sts and 28 rows in stockinette stitch on 4mm needles = 10×10 cm.
4mm and 3.5mm circular needles (40 and 80 or 100 cm).
These needle sizes are just a guide. If you knit with a gauge other than the one given, you must adjust the needle size up or down.
The garment is knitted with one strand of each yarn quality held together.
