The blouse is knitted from the top down.
The yoke is worked back and forth with raglan increases, while at the same time increases are worked along the neckline.
After the increases for the neckline, the work is connected in the middle of the front, and is thereafter knitted in the round in stockinette stitch.
The arm stitches sit on a piece of scrap yarn while the body is knitted.
The arms are then knitted in the round on a small circular needle, with double-pointed needles, or with the magic loop method.
Increases are worked evenly spaced down the arms to give them a gradually wider shape. The blouse has slightly shorter arms which should end just above the wrist.
The blouse requires no construction.
