Enveloped Cardigan is knitted back and forth, from the top down.
Raglan increases are knitted on the yoke, as well as increases towards the neckline on each of the front parts. The increases on the front parts continue after the work has been divided into the arms and the body, until the given stitch count is reached.
The body is finished with a decorative folded edge, which is knitted down and cast off simultaneously.
The arms have a wide fit. They are knitted in the round in stockinette stitch with evenly spaced increases until they reach the desired length. The stitch count is decreased before the arm stitches are cast off with an i-cord edge.
The neckline and the strings for tying consist of an i-cord which is knitted in one piece. The wrap cardigan is designed so that the tie is on the left side.
